Hi,
I have my 70-282 on Friday.

This is my first Microsoft exam; so I'm quite apprehensive about it.
I've downloaded Test King. Has anyone used these before?

Is it incredibly naiive to rely solely on test King exam to help me pass?

Hi Colin,
If i was yourself I would use either the Exam Force or Transcender exam prep tools, inpreference to the Test King. My reasoning for this is that these Test King is just a pdf with qquestion, iirc, and the other two are almost identical to the actual tests and show you the format the questions take.
AFAIK Exam Force does the 70-282 as a download exe for about $100 and it will keep downloading updates to its question database forever.
What other preparation have you done so far for the exam?
If you have any questions I will do my best to anser them before you exam.

Thanks David.
The Test King one I downloaded also makes use of a java powered exam engine. There is also the pdf option included. It was $60.
I’m not sure how up to date the questions are. But I did have a couple of questions – and in fairness their helpdesk was very prompt at replying to my mails. I’ll let you know on Friday if it is accurate though!!

As regards what other preparation I’ve done – I attended a course in New Horizons, and I also have the course book. I need to look at this a bit more before Friday morning though.

Thanks!
Colin

Hi Colin,
I hope it goes well, worth putting it in a virtual test machine, to familiarise yourself with the names of the wizards and what they can do.
Keep us posted.

David,
I passed!
Test King helped a little; but not a great deal.
I'd imagine Transcender would have been better.
This is my first MCP exam, so I'm a bit relieved.
I've an SBS installation next week; so I'll have a new found confidence going into it!!

Thank you,
Colin

Hi Colin,
Congrats on passing. Ot usually is a very varied exam covering far more than just SBS. How did you find those? And were there any questions that got you a little stumped?
Have a great weekend.
