I have three unused, unregistered Sonicwall Tz170s sitting on a shelf at the end of my office.

I'd like to find them a new home - I realise that these have recently been discontinued and superceded by the Tz180 but they are still excellent firewall devices.

They were bought as part of a large remote working project and these particular ones were never used - the client has now moved on to a different product and hence I don't need to hold on to these for any reason anymore.

If anyone is interested in these, individually or preferrably as a job lot, please get in touch - I won't be too hard to pay.

Hi Martin,
FYI
We had gathered up a few sonicwalls lately as well and needed to get them transfered to our mysonicwall.com account. If you send an email to sonicwall support with a photocopy of the serial number and your details they will transfer the device to your account.
Hope that helps with your selling.

Thanks for the heads up - these three items haven't even been out of the box yet. That should mean they are free to be registered as first time users right?

It seems that they have been superceded by the Tz180 and Tz190 (depending on your user session requirements) but am I right in saying these boxes are still fairly current in terms of capability?

Hi Martin,

Can you tell me what node restriction these have (10, 25 or Unrestricted)?

Thanks,

Oscar.

Oscar,

These are each Unlimited node versions, so quite flexible.
