Hi Guys. As you know the v1240 from Vodafone is a great little phone. But sometimes can cause some real pains by being slow or hanging.

So a quick note if you get Clearview with the Phone - Install it to your Storage Card and NOT Main Memory.

If your phone starts crashing all the time here is how to reset it. When you reset it and in my experience it defaults to uk settings. So here are all the irish settings. Handy to have if you are stuck.

Hold down the two soft buttons and press the power key for 1-1 1/2 seconds then release the power button, BUT keep holding down the two soft buttons. You will see a screen (let go of the two soft buttons now) asking if you want to reset to factory settings by pressing zero, press zero. If you don't see this screen, you pressed the power button too long, or you let go of the two soft buttons before you got the reset screen

With your phone turned off press and hold both softkeys and then the power button for a couple of seconds.
When the phone starts to boot release the buttons and you should see a black screen with instructions to hard reset.
